IT Director - Logistics - Shanghai - China

Ensure that all information systems operate according to internal standards
Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
Integration approaches that will connect and streamline business processes and support systems.
Manage operational budget and expenditures.
Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
Coordinate with vendors, country IT and regional IT in the deployment and implementation of business applications.
To support and ensure timely roll out of projects
Apply best practices to IT project management
Develop and maintains an appropriate organizational structure capable of supporting the information needs of operating entities.

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field, preferably with education from an overseas university.
With at least 8 years of progressive experiences in managing functions and departments dealing with information handling, work flow and systems in a mulit-national environment, and 5 years of which in a managerial position.
The capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of business.
Business acumen with strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
Confident in expressing views, sizing and framing issues to achieve positive outcomes.
Effective oral, written communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to prioritize competing demands.
Demonstrated ability to relate to all levels of the user community.
Required language(s): Chinese, English
Applicants must be willing to work in Shanghai.
