IT Specialist-Melaka - Batu Berendam - Malaysia

Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.

Work Location: Malacca
Contract Duration : 1 year*. Possibilities to convert to full time staff*. Great opportunities to be MNC staff*(*subject for renewal based on personal performance and project requirement)

Successful candidates based on qualification will be assigned to work on projects stated below

Project A
• The infrastructure support engineers will administer IT hardware infrastructure, with rotating on servers, storage, clients, network and voice to identify best interest on the area.

Project B
• Provide on-site technical support for 2500+ Windows clients & attached peripherals
• Provide on-site technical support to end-users on Windows client related issues
• Formulate strategies to promote Operational Excellence while maintaining cost
• Involved in projects to promote Operational Excellence

Project C
• MS Office SharePoint Server 2007 administration
• Provide 2nd level end users support on MS SharePoint services
• Conduct SharePoint training to in-house trainers and end users
• On-call rotation after off-office hours in order to guarantee 24x7 support to clients
• Installation and management of Web Server and SharePoint software
• Work closely with SharePoint Developers to support testing and development
• Project supports

Project D
• Provide operational IT application support for semiconductor manufacturing which covers:
- Demand Management & Requirements Engineering
- Designer
- Quality management
- Software development
- Software documentation
- Software operation support

Project E
• Provide IT operational support for test automation, integration and e-mapping systems in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Support requirements on engineering, design, testing and maintenance of software applications
Requirement
• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent field
• Fresh graduate encourage to apply
• Candidate must posses Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Well-versed with Microsoft Windows Server O/S (2000 & 2003)
• Well-versed with Microsoft Office Application (2003 & 2007)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Technologies preferable knowledge in MS SharePoint Portal or Windows SharePoint Services
• Knowledge in C#.net/XML, SharePoint Designer and MS SQL are added advantage
• Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX) - Database Oracle
• Programming languages C, C++
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Resourceful with good analytical skill and ability to perform systematic troubleshooting techniques
• Willingness to travel
• Familiar with Windows Desktop Operating System and Active Directory.
• A team player that is able to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
