Job Description: Our client is a leading Food Servics company, running a Chain of Restaurants across the GCC. To ensure that ICT systems met the overall needs of the company and individual needs of specific projects in order to exceed company targets for growth and profitability. Plan, coordinate, direct, research and design the IT activities of company i.e. like installation, upgrading of hardware & software and systems design & development of computer networks and implementation of internet and intranet sites. Develop, document and implement policies and procedures for IT operations. Help determine both technical and business goals pertaining to IT in consultation with management and make detail plans for the accomplishment of these goals. Ensure maintenance & security of networks and systems. Managing optimized backups and failsafe recovery of Systems, Network & Software. Stay abreast of the latest technology in order to ensure the organization is able to optimize its efficiency in a cost effective manner through the use of technology. Plan, coordinate, implement & ensure an effective organization’s information security of data and IT services in the company. Liaise with other departments to understand their information needs and to utilise IT as a solutions. Plan and prepare annual IT budget. Deployment and planning of projects. Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Server administration, configure routers, setting up wireless networks in new stores & VPN connectivity. Develop and implement the IT budget, obtain competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness. Manage overall IT operations and infra-structure within the company.
