Change Programme Director - South Norfolk Council - UK

This is a key Director post that requires strong leadership, active engagement and performance management to drive through cultural and organisational improvement and make change management part of the day job.

You will be responsible for maintaining service standards and stability in the day-to-day service delivery, in particular for those services within the leadership remit of this post. As part of the Corporate Management Team you will provide support to the Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive and Elected Members in setting and maintaining service levels across South Norfolk Council.

Contributing to the vision and direction to transform services you will represent the Council in relevant external partnerships and forum as appropriate to the role or as delegated by the Deputy Chief Executive or Chief Executive.

An appropriate professional qualification and experience of undertaking strategic development and operational leadership function in local government, and recent experience of leading change both internally and externally in the public sector are essential requirements of this role.
