IT CONSULTANT - Tuas area - Singapore

Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and liaise with users on system requirement gathering, documentation and software evaluation;
Design system workflow and process mapping;
Independently perform detailed assessments of technical issues, leveraging available documentation and application logging/monitoring systems;
Train or guide users when required on NAV applications and functions;
Investigate and rectify operational shortcoming so that system operates correctly and efficiently;
Provide support and maintenance after implementation;
Consults with program/project management to develop appropriate technical solutions;
Responsible for the development of customized NAV configurations to meet the users' requirements.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent;
Min 2 years relevant experience preferrably in Business IT environment and processes;
Applicant with knowledge in NAV system will be an added advantage;
A good team player, able to communicate effectively at all levels;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Willing to travel overseas extensively to perform jobs as and when required;
Applicants should be Singapore citizens or hold relevant residence status;
Immediate availability or within short notice is preferred.
