Application Engineer (Based in Bangalore)-Karnataka-India

Responsibilities:
Qualify customer's products on AMAT system
Qualify new SW features,
Analyzing system performance,
Be the front line technical interactions between the customer and R&D groups,
Analyze and define customer needs,
Conduct joint development programs with customers.
Traveling for 10-12 months in a year.
Ability to quickly adapt to Europe and Far East culture, business practices

Requirements:
Must have skills /Job Specific Knowledge:
Ability to work and learn independently,
customer oriented,
analytical capabilities,
problem solving orientation / trouble shooting skills,
experimental capabilities - ability to design test setups and conduct tests and analyze results,
Team player
Self confident,
presentation skills - both oral and writing,
good communication skills (e-mails, phones, face to face)

Good to have skills:
experience with semiconductor fabrication process,
Optics background
computerized lab work, lasers,
Matlab knowledge,
broad system view
Qualification : Bachelor/Master in Engg.(First preference electrical/material science/chemical)
