Information Security Auditor - National Capital Reg - Philippines

Job Description:
• Prepare audit work papers in compliance with internal audit policies for information systems.
• Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, efficiency and controls.
• Conduct information systems operational audits for data security and information integrity.
• The security audit will identify current and future security vulnerabilities, determines what level of risk is acceptable to management, and identifies the best ways to reduce information security risks to this acceptable level
• Prepare reports presenting findings and recommendations.
• Perform IT general controls reviews.
• To determine if a company has adequate standards in place for system development, data center operations and security, data base management and security, network administration and overall information security.
• Responsible for doing security test to ensure that proper controls are in place. These security tests cover the security of the IT requirement all the way down to individual password creation protocol.
• To determine the effectiveness of controls over individual application systems, such as accounts payable, inventory, payroll or human resources.
• To ensure that information contained within an IT system is accessible by authorized personnel only. This includes security on all workstations, servers and databases.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
