Technical Support Engineer - Malaysia

Responsibilities:
This role is based in Malaysia
Provide first level technical support to internal & external customers
Support Call Centre & Sales to provide technical consultation with customers for technical product
requests
Work across all of the sales channels, and effectively supporting our sales teams and customers at a higher
technical level
Consistently find products based on description
Identify crosses to other suppliers or mfg part numbers
Identify exact or recommended substitutes for obsolete or non-franchised parts
Locate and provide technical product data sheets

Requirements
BSEE degree or Diploma in experience.
3 years of proven success in a technical support roll working with customers, predominantly
engineers.
Strong semiconductor product knowledge.
Product Development and R&D Experiences will be an advantage.
Maintain awareness of current technology
Speak English and Chinese.
Effective oral & written communication skills.
Strong collaborator and team player.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
Systems knowledge (PC, salesforce.com, Internet usage).
Effectively evaluates activities, performance and functions on the basis of accomplishing objectives

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): salesforce.com, first level support, sales channels, technical consultation, R&D.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Malaysia.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Technical & Helpdesk Support, IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
