IT Executive - Singapore

Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of the servers and SAN in the server rooms
Maintain and manage the tape libraries and peripherals
Work closely with the Technical Support Team to implement Group Policies, deploy software, troubleshoot servers, etc.
Assist to man the IT Helpdesk when necessary
Assist to support in the School E-learning activities when necessary
Any other duties assigned by the School

Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or its equivalent, and preferably with MCSE certification
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in maintaining and managing servers .
Familiar with the following:
Microsoft Server /2003/2008/2008R2 Setup and Administration, Group Policy, Active Directory, Basic Networking and Firewall setup
Microsoft Terminal Server, Citrix Presentation Servers, 2X Application servers, Softgrid and thin client
Microsoft General Services (DNS, DHCP, IIS, etc.)
Backup Software (Symantec Backup Exec, etc.)
Virtualization (VMware and /or Hyper-V)
Desktop OS (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7),Mac OS X and PC/Printer setup
Linux administration
Motivated to make continuous improvements to systems
Able to work both independently and in a team
