QA Opportunity for an Investment Bank Maharashtra - India

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): QTP, Test Director, java.
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent. Job role in Software Quality Assurance or Functional/Technical Consultant.

Job Description : Candidate should be able to define Test Plans with clearly defined test objectives & scope. Ability to create detailed test cases and scripts for assigned projects based on the test plan. Report issues/discrepancies in the bug tracking tool and provide details of the issue along with steps to recreate to development and business teams. Follow up on the issues reported and ensure to verify the fixes provided.

Requirements :
• Experience in creating test harnesses and test tools from Mercury (QTP, Test Director, Load Runner etc).
• Knowledge of JAVA and other structured programming.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lice Cycle.
