Job Description / Responsibility
IT Magnet is an Australia-based software development company established 13 years ago in Australia and 8 years ago in Dhaka. The company develops software for major national and international companies such as Nestle, Qantas Airways, Telstra and Australian government therefore the company must maintain state of the art software quality. The development environment encompasses both desktop and web based software, and custom and package software which involves diverse technologies such as Mobile and PDA software, iPAD, Anroid, Google Map, SaaS (Software as a Service), Microsoft Dynamics, Web Service and more. It’s a rare software company that has successfully developed its own software development Framework.
The company is looking for a highly motivated, experienced and creative software engineer to lead our development team. In our dynamic technology platform and development framework the ideal candidate will set direction for the best of bread development practice and establish highest standard and quality development.
The ideal candidate will be an intelligent, mature and level headed individual who will seek long-term future with the company.
Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a group of Australian and Bangladeshi developers to implement major .NET based application for Australian corporate, government and financial sectors.
Perform Research and Development for new technologies as well as project related challenges.
Lead several projects and assist developers in analysing, architecting and designing large-scale applications and databases.
Excellent capability of writing complex SQL queries and objects for SQL Server 2008/2005 in order to ensure that the team is producing the best possible outcome.
Lead the development of high performance .NET applications using market-leading technologies such as C#, MS SQL Server 2008, LINQ, DevExpress.
Lead further development and enhancement of in-house developed Framework and develop checklist for standards and best practices.
Communicating with and producing reports for managers in relations to technical concepts, directions and improvement opportunities.

Educational Requirements
B. Sc (Hons) in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree

Experience Requirements
5 to 8 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Programmer/Software Engineer, Software Architect, System Analyst, Team Leader (Software)

Additional Job Requirements
Age 25 to 35 year(s)
The candidate must have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Desktop and web Development with object-oriented software design and development using Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0. A minimum of 2 years of experience as Senior Analyst Programmer and 1 year as Development Team Lead.
Always eager to deliver high quality products using best and optimised practises in professional manner.
Experience in Team Foundation Server, WF, WCF, and WPF is a strong plus.
Familiarity with third party controls and frameworks such as DevExpress, Telerik is a very strong plus.
The candidate should have strong knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, XML, SOAP, XHTML and XAML.
Familiarity with Oracle and other databases will be treated as added bonus.
Excellent communication skill in English (writing and speaking).
Salary Range
TK.75000 - 90000
