Embedded Software Developer - Singapore

Embedded Software Developer (GUI)(Ref. RSASIA/11/010)
Responsibilities:
Product development for Test and Measurement Instruments
Participate in the requirements analysis and the design of a complete instrument
Specify and plan the GUI components of the instrument
Handle the GUI programming of the softkeys, dialogues and remote commands as well as the graphical representation of measurement results
Perform software tests
Integrate software modules and operating systems into instruments and carry out functional tests

Requirements:
Master/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or Master/Degree in Computer/Software Engineering
At least 5-7 years relevant experience in object oriented software design and programming in C++, QT and UML for embedded systems
Professional work experience of Windows CE
Professional knowledge in embedded processor architectures (XScale and ARM architecture) real time operating systems
Professional work experience in software architecture and implementation of GUI Software
Proficient in Visual C++, debugging tools and administration tools (e.g. version control software Clear Case)
Knowledge of spectrum analyser technology will be an advantage
Dedicated team player with strong job commitment
Strong passion for development
Strong problem-solving skills
Independent, self-motivated and result-oriented
Will be based in Germany for more than half a year
Able to reside in Singapore for non-Singaporeans
Occasional travel is a must
