Software Engineer Embedded - Match 2 Technical - Waikato - New Zealand

Based in Hamilton you will be joining a substantial team of developers but working within a small and enthusiastic team of embedded software engineers. The development processes are organised on a product basis so you will need to interface continuously across disciplines.

Your key duties include:
Writing and debugging source code
Producing software that works efficiently with the hardware resources.
Making a positive contribution to team meetings.

To do this job effectively you will need:
A relevant tertiary qualification such as a BE
Experience with C, C++ and assembler languages
At least 2 years industrial experience
Experience with an embedded RTOS in a 16 or 32 bit microprocessor environment
Experience integrating software into a microprocessor environment
Skills using debugging tools
Experience using oscilloscope s to track down software issues in embedded hardware
