IT Manager - Singapore

Responsibilities:
To perform installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting the office networks infrastructure (crucial).
To perform installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting Windows servers and Linux servers as well.
To perform security hardening of Microsoft servers and Linux servers.
To provide daily door access system and phone system support.
To recruit, mentor and manage junior IT staff as and when necessary.
To administer, maintain and troubleshoot office PCs (i.e. Windows XP and Vista 7), network printers.
To work with the CEO to set objectives for the IT departments to enhance the overall operations effectiveness and productivity within the company.
To liaise and/or source with/for local vendors to resolve the problems of internet connection, phone system, network printer, special applications projects and vendors related products.

Requirements:
Candidates need to have a Diploma/Degree in Computer engineering or IT.
Candidates need to have good knowledge of TCP/IP networks, Windows OS and Linux OS, Network / System / Database Administrative or equivalent, experience in System Administrator or Infrastructure Security.
Candidates need to have at least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.
Candidates need to have hands on management experience of mail server on linux platform such as qmail, postfix or sending mail, strong knowledge in troubleshooting hardware and software.
Candidates need to have an ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
If candidates have working experience and skill in software development in VB, Java, PHP and C++ will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates will be working at our Singapore office.
