ADABAS Engineers - Shanghai - China

What Financial crisis? Shanghai/China’s economy is taking the lead and is improving significantly. This tier-1 global investment institution is also taking the lead in removing head count freeze to recruit aggressively to prepare themselves for the economy upturn.

As a result, they are building and recruiting for an elite mainframe team in Shanghai to be part of their global support on Enterprise Infrastructure for 10,000 users. We are now seeking 2x ADABAS Engineers to be part of this team.

Extensive ADABAS (V7.4.4 and above) experience is required including Cluster Services and Parallel Services configurations experience. Strong NATURAL, JES2 JCL and MVS z/OS concepts and fundamentals experience will be needed to truly maintain the system environment effectively. CICS and DB2 environment knowledge will also be advantageous. Mandarin communication skills are not required but good English communication skills will be required for communicating effectively with global project managers. Previous working experience in Banking mainframe systems is advantageous
