Sr Manager Product Innovation - Qatar

Role Overview

As the Group has now expanded operations into 17 different markets, it is imperative for the Product Development team to leverage its strengths across the various operations to seek synergies and to develop innovative products to face the competitions in the market.
The role of the Senior Manager, Product Innovation is to plan and develop the marketing strategy for single or multiple products. This includes estimation of the demand of a product, competitive analysis, pricing strategies and overseeing product development with key stakeholders and partners. In addition the Senior Manager, Product Innovation will work with advertising and PR departments and agencies to promote the products being managed.

Core Responsibilities
Strategize and develop innovative products for various markets that will drive better overall revenues, market share, competitiveness, and brand image in the long run.
Develop business case analysis for new products and the impacts on profit, competition, revenues and market share
Manage end-to-end Product Development life-cycle by working closely with the Group OpCo's to ensure their requirements are captured, analyzed and implemented successfully in product launches.
Develop and Maintain Strategic Alliance relationship with:
o Content Partners;
o Key Application and Platform Providers;
o Device Manufacturers.
Define quantitative & qualitative processes for periodic fundamental marketing research of diverse products and services.
Participate specific workgroups within the Marketing Forum structure to ensure key marketing / product initiatives are driven through to meet end goals of the overall plan. Track progress to key milestones, identify and correct any slippage.
Regular progress reporting, focussing on exceptions and steps to correct the exceptions. Accurate and honest reports on project status and risks to the final delivery.
Coach and mentor participants, and influence them to take accountability for their deliverables.

Requirements:
Qualifications
Hold a bachelors degree in a related field.
Total Corporate experience of 10+ years.
6+ years' proven experience of Product Development and Business Analysis in a key role within Telco/Mobile operation.
Excellent analytical & presentation skills.
Fluent in English.
Core Competencies
Strong experience in each area described in "Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge".
Sound knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end technical implications of the mobile value chain (i.e. end user devices, applications, enabling platforms, and basic mobile infrastructure).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse community.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including ability to foster a cooperative work environment amongst the group operations.
Mature ability to work collaboratively with management teams throughout the organization and to be seen as a valuable expert resource to be sought out.
Good knowledge of the Product Development life-cycle and Project Management in cross-team environment.
