PAYROLL PROJECT SPECIALIST- Singapore

Responsibilities:
Role purpose
Provide payroll SME support to APAC countries transitioning payroll to outsource provider

Accountabilities
• Facilitate payroll transition to outsource provider
• Work with country teams to design payroll outsource model
• Work with Global payroll team and regional SME’s to successfully deliver the payroll transition project
• Understand country payroll rules, taxation, pay related legislation and reporting
• Guide country through blueprinting/ requirement gathering phase and act as interface between country and payroll provider
• Prepare/ Review documentation as required for the payroll project
• Assist country in preparing test cases and conducting UAT
• Provide support and subject matter expertise during payroll parallel runs
• Assist in data conversion and interface testing

Requirements:
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge
• Good understanding of one or more payrolls for Asian countries
• Ability to work independently and network effectively with a wide range of people and stakeholders within an international, cross-cultural environment.
• Ability to communicate and interact within diverse environments (employees, influencers, customers, etc.).

Critical experience
• 3-5 years experience in payroll implementation using HRIS in large scale MNC’s
• Conducted requirements gathering, process documentation, reporting, testing, training and data conversion related activities
• Understand payroll rules, taxation, reporting and legislation for one or more countries in Asia

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
• IT and business or support background and able to integrate information
• Hands on execution, efficient and operational excellence
• Excellent communications and analysing skills
• Good team player
• Understanding HR and Payroll processes and able to map these processes to add value to business
