Product Manager (Vendors Management) - Singapore

Responsibilities:
You will develop product cost models and reduce costs by maximising our purchasing potential with vendors and achieve a high quality of goods and services
Source, negotiate prices and purchase Security products.
Create a preferred vendor list
Manage contract negotiations and develop strategic alliances and supplier relationships
Analyze market & advise management on product, price trends and market conditions
Review strategic sourcing.
Co-ordinate and perform inventory management
Develop a database of costs/ pricing for Singapore
Creation of Material code as part of inventory control process
Inventory management and control to optimise profits
Develop frame agreements with preferred vendors
Review all existing purchasing arrangements and put forward recommendations
Review existing material master, reduce duplications and make necessary changes to its descriptions and groupings
Review and reduce creation of Material code as part of inventory control process

Requirements:
Diploma with min 3 years product management experience, preferred from security/electronic/IT industry
Knowledge and understanding of supply, product and vendor management
Proven contract negotiation skills
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work in a fast paced environment
