Responsibilities:
Support Engineer- 6 months contract
We represent our client, a listed Multinational IT & Networking vendor, providing Networking Appliances and web / Internet based Security products.. The company’ s customer base covers a broad spectrum of enterprise industries and telecom operator. They are currently looking for a Support Engineer (6 months contract) to be based at their Bangalore, India office.

Responsibilities:
Provides high-level technical support for the company’s customers through the performance of onsite diagnosis, troubleshooting and installation of the company’s systems and software.
Analysis and interprets the customers problems or needs and solve it
Provides daily customer communication via phone and email.

Requirements:
Degree holder with at least 8 years of networking support working experience and 6 years as a technical onsite support role for enterprise level customers.
Network and computer proficient and experience in customer service.
Experience with network internet security products, working knowledge of Internet Services, e.g. Web Services, Media Servers, Browser and Media Player operations.
Application and routing protocol knowledge including TCP, IP, PPP, routing, FTP.
Good command of English.
