Application-Analyst-(Business-Objectives)-Singapore

Responsibilities:
The primary function of the Application Analyst is to develop and support Applications, delivering products based on user requirements and business objectives. Develop Technical/Functional Specifications, Unit Test Plan based on User requirements. Responsible for the accuracy of program logics in accordance to business requirements. Assist with the analysis of business requirements i.e. involved in feasibility studies and functional analysis. Develop program specifications and code programs to agreed standards and according to business specifications. Test and debug programs, ensuring necessary changes are implemented and documented. Participate in Production Support and provide effective solutions. Involved in database design, technical architecture, sizing and applications performance across platforms, as required in resolving production issues and enhancements. Provide standard documentation as required i.e. problem investigations, data fixes, program comments, test plan, user guides etc.

Assist in User Support during and post implementation. Perform technical support tasks such as environment configuration (eg. Setting up environments, maintaining sanctions). Effective liaison with internal and external users.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
General Insurance Knowledge. In-depth knowledge of SMART and Polisy/400. Good exposure in Systems/Application Integrations. Developed CL and Cobol programs in AS/400. Familiar with SDLC and Structured Analysis. Analytical and problem solving abilities. Business Focused Analysis.
