Position Summary

Experience: 5 to 8 yrs
Responsibility: The senior person ensuring that project objectives/deliverables are met, this includes monitoring and resource utilization. Main Responsibilities includes:
Maintain and execute driver test plans on a daily basis
Set up and maintain test system infrastructures
Display device compatibility testing on various OS platforms (windows based)
Will be accountable for LOGO deliverable
The person need to be technically sound and have the ability to train/educate local staff on new features/requirements and or tools. From a retrospective standpoint this person will also need to evaluate/analyze all deliverables and workflow and suggest process and or tools improvement. The person will interface with development teams to resolve any issues that need technical clarifications. The person is also responsible to drive the automation strategy.
Skills and Experience Requirement:
First class BE / BTech, ME, MCA
5+ Year exp in S/W Testing (Preferably Driver / Embedded Software / OS level testing)
Should be strong in C / C++ / .Net, Perl and Windows scripting
Test Automation, ability to automate existing test cases
Familiar with system (PC) configuration, 3D graphics, Microsoft technology, DTM, WHQL, and manage OS (XP/VISTA).
Strong analysis, problem solving and reporting skills.
Familiar with aspects of product development, such as lifecycles, software process methodology and product deployment
Good knowledge of XP & VISTA Windows operating systems
Good hardware/software trouble shooting and analytical skills a must
Hands on experience with PC hardware/software /networking configuration and setup a must
Prior WHQL test experience strongly desired
Should be a team player and have the ability to take responsibilities
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Some understanding of project management - Should have ability to drive the team to achieve objectives.
Identify matrices and measurements for all aspect of the software QA development cycle.
Evaluation/review of all new or existing processes, comparing them to established procedures and standards both technical and non-technical and champion where applicable.
? Develop and implement quality control and improvement processes.
