Job Description We are looking for a Application Security Specialist with one of our esteemed client in Dubai 4 years work experience as Application Security Analyst University Degree in the field of Engineering, computer science or equivalent Relevant security certifications are a plus Familiarity with Oracle ERP Applications, Web Applications, Hospitality Applications and Student Management Applications Familiarity with web-related technologies such as IIS, Apache, AJAX, ASP, .NET, Java, etc Experience in web security technologies such as access control, identity management SSO Knowledge of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices. In-depth technical knowledge of Security risks, threats, vulnerabilities and security solutions. Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Network administration, Systems Administration and web protocols Knowledge of applicable practices and laws relating to data privacy and protection. Knowledge of Law enforcement practices and procedures Ability to conduct research into security issues and products as required. Candidates currently working in UAE preferred
