Overall responsibility of working closely with product managers, development managers, various testing teams & domain experts to ensure delivery of high quality products to global markets

Responsible for multiple product testing and technically guiding teams of bright SW testers , and leads. Planning & execution of all aspects of various types of testing like - Functional, Performance, Integration, Usability, Automation Scripting, Data Integrity, Security, etc.

Primarily responsible for requirements verification, planning test coverage, creating product test strategies & test plans for multiple products.

Intricate involvement in developing test cases, checklists, test beds, test data preparation, etc.

Automation test scripts based on leading tools like IBM Rational Functional Tester, HP Mercury QTP, TestComplete, etc.

Responsible for Product defect tracking, error reporting & management in close coordination with development teams for multiple products.

Responsible for implementing test metrics, defect prevention & statistical quality control for various products.

Opportunity of leading QC teams in challenging Geoengineering / Photogrammetry / Image processing domains (involving high-end software engineering techniques, mathematical models, algorithms, etc.) based on latest technologies - C# 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5 with ASP.Net, VC++, C++, Python, J2EE

M.S. / M. Tech / M.E. / B. Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or any engineering disciplines or GeoSciences / Photogrammetry / Remote Sensing / Image Processing from reputed institutions / universities. Having worked in structured software engineering environments / premier research institutes / R&D labs.

At least 5+ years hands-on experience in developing automated testing scripts for complex client-server / n-tier web applications preferably in Photogrammetry / Image processing / GIS. Extremely high proficiency is expected in scripting using at least one of the leading automation tools from IBM Rational / HP Mercury / Compuware, etc.

Should be well conversant with testing applications based Object Oriented / Service Oriented architectures

Extremely strong analytical skills & exceptional numeric computational abilities. This should be matched with a very positive attitude and aptitude to learn & keep in pace with emerging technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are anticipated. The position requires constant interaction with global development teams.

Solid 4+ years experience in testing 24/7 mission-critical applications based on Oracle / MS SQL Server / Geo-databases
