Website Support and Developer - Safat - Kuwait

To fully support, maintain and enhance the institutes website and all related web applications.
Main responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance the existing website.
Maintain and enhance the existing web based applications
Work closely with the different units in regards to their website needs.
Coordinate with external clients in regards to the online portal service provided by the Institute. Work closely with the IT team to integrate the website with the Institutes's ERP solution.
Work closely with the marketing department to enhance the look and feel of the website.
Troubleshoot all website related issues.
Develop new pages or/and websites as required.
Reporting to: IT Manager/Head of IT.
Subordinates : Nil
Other interactions: Inside the institute, will interact with all the different business units to understand their needs/issues and provide appropriate support.
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent. Annual contract- renewed automatically.

Profile: University qualifications: IT related university degree
Other certifications : Preferred to be a CIW Web Developer certified. Minimum 3 years experience in website support and development. Good practical knowledge of ASP development. Preferred someone that has developed web based applications based on ASP.Net technology.
Specialist knowledge :
Programming Skills: HTML, Java, Servlets, JSP, PHP, SQL, XML, JavaScript, ASP
Graphic design and Photo editing
Good hands-on knowledge of FrontPage, Dreamweaver MX, Photoshop 7.0, Fireworks MX, basic knowledge of Flash.
DBMS used: MySql, MS SQL, MS Access.
Other Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Good Public Relations skills.
Good time keeper.
