Lead Engineer – Messaging Services-Technology Park-Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia

Lead the design of robust Exchange/Outlook 2003 global infrastructure capable of supporting our business needs today and looking at future technologies for tomorrow. Exchange 2003 Design to include
o Server Placement
o Capacity Management
o Resilience & DR
o External Connectivity
o Outlook client design
o Service Level Agreements
Incident Management: Work with BAU support teams to ensure minimal disruption to our users through proactive management and robust design.
Problem Management: Be involved with the BAU support teams to ensure that problems are managed through Root Cause Analysis to Permanent Fix, once service is resumed. This should result in fewer high severity incidents.
To be the technology expert on any service improvement program in relation to Exchange 2003 messaging infrastructure.
Lead the design of a robust Blackberry infrastructure.
Deliver high quality technical documentation in support of desktop initiatives. Ensure all documentation is agreed and signed off, including all updates to the design documentation.
Lead the test and production support teams during design reviews to deliver a world class messaging solution.

Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in IT design and implementation with a good understanding of Microsoft products.
Have previous experience as part of a design team for a large infrastructure implementation on Microsoft Exchange 2003. Microsoft certification on Exchange server design and implementation is preferred but not required.
Have substantial knowledge of Microsoft products in general and collaboration technologies such as MS Outlook, Live Communication Server would be a benefit.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and willingness to work under pressure.
Strong problem solving skills and self motivated.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Good communication skills, especially verbal (including telephone) and written.
