Job Description We are looking for a Database Security Specialist with one of our client to be based in Dubai with the foll brief University Degree in the field of Engineering, computer science or equivalent Minimum 4 years work experience in the Database Security field Preferred Certifications: CISSP, Oracle and SQL The understanding of security controls in the following environments: Oracle, MS SQLserver, or MySQL (Sybase or DB2 a plus) Data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices. In-depth technical knowledge of Security risks, threats, vulnerabilities and security solutions. Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Database administration, Systems Administration and web protocols Intuition and keen instincts to pre-empt attacks. Knowledge of applicable practices and laws relating to data privacy and protection. Knowledge of Law enforcement practices and procedures High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to conduct research into security issues and Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Highly self motivated and directed Excellent attention to detail.
