Responsibilities: To provide pre-sales IS support: Lead the IT related sales presentations to customer, Design IS solutions that meet customers’ integration requirements (Includes networking and infrastructure requirements), Formulate IS solution costing for business decision, Participate in customer’s RFI/RFQ and develop questionnaire on IT related requirements, Lead the IT related presentations to customer.
To implement IS Solutions: Work closely with customer and manage the implementation project according to schedule. (Includes user acceptance test, move to production and conduct ongoing evaluations)
To provide post-sales IS support: Validating and improving efficiency of IS system, Resolving issues which arise from post-sales with any element of the Customer Interface,
Proactively recommending improvements to the service
To support DHL Express on customer IS requirements.
To coordinate with global/regional Business IT country coordination and domains, CIS, ITSC account management and Solution support.
To support and coordinate customer IS Integration planning.
To assist sales and customer IS requirements through development of project plans.
To coordinate with business services personnel to ensure integrated solutions are met.
To support Customer Integrated Service projects whilst seeking quality improvement opportunities.
To analyse solutions and scenarios to support Customer Integration Services project requirements.
To coordinate the solutions and interface requirements.
To get approval for project implementations.
Requirements:
Degree in Information Services (or equivalent) or Computer Science
Having 3-5 years IS experience, preferably in logistics industry
Communication skills (English), spoken and written (excellent)
Project management skills
Presentation skills (excellent)
Technical skills and application skills; SQL/T-SQL/RDBMS in database servers such as MS SQL Server, XML, Java Script, VBscript and ASP, Programming in VB.6, PHP,Java or other programming language, Advanced Crystal Reporting knowledge, Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and Windows Server 2002/2003, Networks and peripheral management, Hands-on experience in running and managing WMS systems including EDI, Project Management skill
